Regional Action Plans Part One

 In this section
 Regional Action Plans Part Two

Under Two Ways Together Regional Action Plans have been developed which focus on actions to improve the well being of Aboriginal people; the identified actions are cross-agency or are genuinely new.

Plans were developed by Two Ways Together Regional Engagement Groups, which have representation from Aboriginal communities and the NSW and Australian Governments.

Plans identify:

  • a small number of significant goals over a rolling two-year cycle, commencing 1 July 2007;
  • the lead agency to lead the work, in collaboration with other agencies and local Aboriginal peak bodies;
  • priority actions;
  • the barriers to success;
  • the need for new resources where there are gaps in service delivery; and
  • monitoring and reporting progress.

    Plans are flexible enabling it to be adapted to the changing needs and circumstances of the region.

    The Plans have been saved over two pages and can be downloaded here.
