Policies

The Department of Aboriginal Affairs develops policies on issues affecting Aboriginal people, as well as contributing to the development of other NSW Government policies.

The following policies have been developed by the Department in consulation with Aboriginal people in NSW.

• Two Ways Together, the New South Wales Aboriginal Affairs Plan 2003-2012

• The NSW Aboriginal Languages Policy

• Policy guidelines for a recommended fee for service for Aboriginal cultural performance

• Operational Guidelines for NSW Government Officers Negotiating Shared Responsibility Agreements

• Framework Document: Overarching Agreement on Aboriginal Affairs Between The Commonwealth of Australia and The State of New South Wales 2005 - 2010
